Mallory and Konner were so game to do a sunrise engagement session at Rowena Crest Viewpoint. I know that I wouldn’t be up for it, so the fact that they were bright eyed and bushy tailed was awesome. Baileys and champagne helped a little bit too. 😉
I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with the energy of these two. First of all, they work full time in Portland, so a day off where you get up at the butt-crack of dawn is some hard core dedication to photography. They definitely opened up in front of the camera and made it so easy to capture the chemistry between them. I loved that Mallory chose colors that went with the scenery, and the matching jean jackets?! You have to be kidding. She is like my spirit animal. I think I need to hire her to style my closet.
Mallory and Konner met in college and after seven years of dating, he finally popped the question! I mean, I would too with a babe like Mallory! I remember when we first met in a coffee shop in Portland, they were telling me about their vision for their wedding, and I was so giddy. They are a couple that celebrates the way that they want. I know that it means so much when a couple decides to do things their way and make the day centered around their love. You would think that happens all the time, but it is tough when you have family obligations and are trying to keep certain traditions!
After we finished taking photos, they were off to go cake tasting for the wedding cake. I mean, what an awesome Saturday, right? It took me way longer than I expected to edit these because nearly every single photo was gorgeous. There was no way to narrow it down, so I just edited most of them. This blog post has a fraction of the photos because I wanted to keep it minimal, but let me tell you, it was a struggle.
I’m looking forward to seeing them again and getting down on their wedding day! I have a feeling they are party people and those dance floor photos are going to be ones to remember. 😉
Thanks for following along and enjoy! <3
