Oregon Wine Country Wedding | Abbey Road Farm

I absolutely love a good Oregon Wine Country Wedding! There is something so elegant and chic about the rolling hills, rose gold, and greenery. The venue, Abbey Road Farms, has the most unique layout and lodging for a couple wanting to stay where they get married. You can even pet the donkeys and goats if you want!
Oregon wine country is definitely growing as a hot spot for weddings so it was exciting for me to be able to photograph and experience what Willamette Valley has to offer! If you’re ever down this way, drive through Dundee and you will see all of the wineries and their amazing tasting rooms. Kendyl and Andrew even live within an hour drive, out in Canby, which is a gorgeous little town on its own.
These two have the sweetest story about the first time they met. Andrew saw Kendyl in third grade and popped up out of no where and scared her. She says this is the first memory she has of the two of them interacting, and what a cute memory. They dated all through high school and college which makes their story even sweeter. All of their friends said that it was about time they married because they had been together for a decade already. Kendyl’s maid of honor even mentioned that they’re going to be the next medical power couple. Kendyl just graduated with her nursing degree and Andrew is applying to different medical schools to become a Physicians Assistant. How cool is that?!
I loved everything about taking photographs for this because of the unique combination of vendors. I don’t think I have worked with a group of more hard-working and thoughtful individuals. I am so grateful that I was able to work with and meet new people that I can now refer out to couples.
I’m really looking forward to the next time I get to shoot a wedding in Oregon Wine Country. It truly was magical!
