Harvest Wedding at Saint Irenes in Tualatin Oregon

November 13, 2019

I am so excited to finally share this stunning harvest wedding styled shoot at Saint Irenes! I worked with an amazing dream team of vendors and we were featured over at Green Wedding Shoes! How exciting is that?!

Vendor Team:

Photographer: Casi Yost
Concept and Florals: Revel Petals
Model and HAMU: Marina Haynes
Bridal Dress Boutique: The Bespoke Bride
Copper Dress: Fame And Partners
Paper goods: Letters & Dust
I have had the privilege of working at Saint Irenes in the past! I’ve shot a couple weddings there as well as this awesome New Years Eve styled shoot! I have also worked with Marina a few times and you can see one of our most recent shoots here.
The inspiration for this was totally Marisa over at Revel Petals. She loved the Ukranian floral head pieces and floral wreaths, so she put all of the pieces together and Saint Irenes was the best backdrop to showcase her work in an edgy way. It was such a dream to shoot her beautiful florals. They pretty much resemble beautiful arrangements that you would see in an oil painting. I love the wild and organic feel that they have.
The idea for this was to inspire couples for their fall weddings. It can be daunting to pull together a color palette that is timeless and works for the fall season in Oregon. I also think that a lot of the time people keep following bridal trends without really wanting to move outside the box. This shoot gave all of the creative, “outside the box” feels to it. I felt so lucky to be able to shoot it.
Marina of course is such a talented hair and makeup artist, but she also doubles as a hard core model and I love shooting with her. I would highly recommend you work with her for hair and makeup for any wedding.
Thank you to all the vendors who contributed to this! I couldn’t imagine a better styled shoot to serve as inspiration for couples. I appreciate the trust that they had with this vision and that Marisa had in me to capture it for her!
